SCANPAC offers a gas atomised, high purity powder suitable for pressing and sintering to full density with proparties same or better than wrought or cast steels.

The powder are agglomerated according to a patented process and customized to give good green strength and flowability.

SCANPAC alloys offered are

- Cobalt base alloys
- High speed steels
- Iron base steels

Other alloys or compound mixtures can be offered on request

SCANPAC powders are delivered in bottles or drums of maximum 200 kg weight.

The powders are delivered with a certificate specifying chemical analysis, sieve analyses, flow properties, fill density and green strength.

For each group od alloys, recommendations are given for de-binding, pressing, etc. as well as specific tests for sintered products.

The powders are suitable to be pressed by conventional uniaxial pressing, high speed pressing (HVC) or cold isostatic pressing (CIP).
